Onsen At Moncham Resort is located on the approach to Moncham, about half a kilometre past the Nong Hoi Royal Project. The resort is designed in Japanese style, blending with lush green mountains and a blanket of mist that surrounds this place, making you feel as if you are stepping into an actual Japanese village.
Onsen At Moncham has 16 rooms in three styles: Grand Mountain View, Grand Terrace Suite, and Grand Onsen Suite. The latter has a private onsen. All rooms are designed like a Japanese Ryokan: a futon on the raised floor and a tea zone where guests can drink tea while enjoying the mountain view outside the room as if you are in Japan. Onsen At Moncham also provides a kimono and geta sandals for guests to better enjoy the Japanese atmosphere.
The activity that guests must not miss is soaking in the onsen. Apart from the private onsen in some rooms, guests and walk-in customers can relax in the public onsen, which is divided into a male and female section. There are many types of onsen to choose from: indoor onsen, wooden tub onsen, outdoor onsen, and a stone onsen in the garden. The onsen water comes from the same origin as bottled mineral water, so it doesn’t have a sulfuric smell. Moreover, onsen water contains a combination of copper, magnesium, zinc, calcium and sulfate ions, which are natural minerals. Soaking in an onsen in a natural environment can purify both your skin and your mind, creating an unforgettable moment.
